11 cars damaged as wall collapses during rains in Mumbai

Cars remain trapped after the compound wall of Lloyds Estate near Dosti acres in Wadala, Mumbi, collapsed around 4 a.m. on Monday, owing to heavy rain. The internal road also caved in allegedly due to construction on the neighbouring plot.
Lloyd's Estate is a conspicuous lodging society comprising of nine structures. Around 4 a.m. Monday, a segment of the inner street and a part of the compound divider in the stopping zone close Wadala Heights (one of the structures) collapsed, leaving an expansive pit in the ground. The Fire Brigade was called. No setback was accounted for.

Ajay Singh Rathod, an inhabitant, stated, "I heard a noisy commotion and I looked outside. Regrettably, I saw the stopping floor gradually descending with stopped autos. I quickly cautioned every one of my neighbors and we emptied the building."
